The venue had been booked, the flowers selected, outfits tailored, menus tasted and playlists curated. But as the coronavirus ravaged the world last year and travel shut down, many couples who had planned destination weddings were forced to postpone their nuptials. This included my closest friends Zoe and Sam. They had to delay their wedding in Italy, not once, not twice but three times; talk about stressful! However, once September came around, it was a European summers day worth waiting for. Set within the grounds of Villa Bossi, on the water of Orta San Giulio, Zoe and Sam tied the knot next on arguably, the most enchanting and romantic of Italian Lakes.
